Baxters neuropathy or Baxters neuritis or Baxters nerve entrapment is a common problem to include in the differential for insertional plantar fasciitis. The pain from plantar fasciitis is more common first thing in the morning than Baxters Neuritis. The pain from the neuritis tends to radiate more. Those Baxters neuropathy also tend to have problems with the muscular control of the little toe.
